The Bible as a Courtroom: The Big Idea

The Bible works like a courtroom. You make a claim about who you are. The judges rule to match it.

In this course, everything happens inside you, the reader. The people, places and events show how your identity is claimed, judged and made real. They are not outside powers acting on you.

One line sums it up: YHVH offers an identity, and Elohim, the judges and rulers, must make it real.

Remember: the Bible shows how an identity is claimed and then made real.
