The Bible Plot

Man Is the One Who Claims

And God said, Let us make man in our image, like us: and let him have rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every living thing which goes flat on the earth. — Genesis 1:26 (BBE)

In this course “man” does not mean a kind of body. Man is the one who claims an identity, and the one the court makes it real for. The “us” is the court of many voices deciding what exists.

The verse also gives that identity rule over the creature groups from days five and six. Once an I AM is standing, it rules those groups. They do not rule it.

See the patriarchs: the name before the story.

Remember: making man means making the one who claims an identity and has it made real.
